Been waitin for spore for quie awhile, but I just now found the forums

Hey Caithann, welcome to the forums. I think spore is really going to be a big game when it is out. Will Wright really wants this game to be even bigger franchise than Sim City & Sims. He said so himself many times (Like the recent NASA Spore presentation). Really can't wait, why can't they just hurry up? Hehehehe

Probably like you guys I've been a fan of Spore since I first heard about it nearly a year ago.

I'm double majoring with environmental studies so I'm particularly interested in how you can manipulate environments in the space phase (like adding green house gases).

I'm also a life long fan of Sim City, so I'm eager to see how well the Civilization Phase plays out.

I think my first creature is going to be a human (or a 'sim' and then later create something a lot bigger and meaner and wipe out humanity

Maybe indirectly but maybe the whole game is a bit like that, cause and effect. Like give your creatures things to work with (tools, music?) and play to develop their skills and brain in particular direction.

I am with you on the human! I would love to see how we stack up with all sort of freaky things with teeth that slobber. I am not sure I will resist doing the teeth and slobber myself first though.

Hello people! I have been insanely excited about Spore for about two years now. I'm pretty sure I will die if it gets delayed any later than September! I can't believe I didn't know about this site.
