There are some things that you might not be sure about in life. One might be whether or not you are real or a character in a video game. Well I’m here to help you figure that out today with “Is it Spore or Reality.”
5. Spore: Your arms were mysteriously plucked off and replaced with tentacles that have pincers at the ends while you were sleeping.
Reality: You would be in extreme agony and everyone knows that pincers just don't go well with tentacles. It's just not fashionable. Now tentacles with suckers or armor plates with pincers, those are fashionable combinations, especially after Easter and before the end of summer. But if you want to tempt the fashion gods, you go right ahead with your tentacles and pincers.
4. Spore: When you sing creatures come and romantically rub up against you. Eggs are created and you nest with your new mate. So sing loud and proud and often.
Reality: When you sing people generally run in fear, throw bottles at you or attempt to push you out of a moving vehicle. When they are successful your life is utterly miserable as you have bruises, cuts and scratches in abundance. Generally, the only eggs involved are the ones flying at your head and you never get a new mate out of it and go home to your empty nest.
3. Spore: You wake up one day and realize you finally have that third arm you've been waiting for.
Reality: Sleeping would totally suck man. I mean sure it would be cool to be able to use your mobile phone, drink a beer and drive all at the same time. Come to think of it, you probably wouldn't be drinking and driving if you looked like this, you'd be too busy clipping your toenails with that strange spikey saw blade you've got there. Well at least you've got those tough scales to keep from hurting yourself with it. I bet it makes a really good back scratcher though.
2. Spore: Your vehicle looks like a motorized version of your species. Thank the creator for such amazing creativity and for bringing a new meaning to ‘race car.’
Reality: Would you really want your car to look just like you? Sure, if this were the land of the “Mech Warrior” where you needed to do battle on a daily basis to survive. But then again that beer belly wouldn't really be very useful while walking even though it would hold one heck of a missile launcher. Talk about a Belly Buster!
1. Spore: You evolved from a single cell organism to a space faring race in the span of several days.
Reality: We haven't even evolved to a space-faring race yet and it's been a million years. Heck some people haven't even evolved past grunting and spitting let alone being a technologically advanced race of enlightened beings. But with Spore everyone gets the chance to live out their dreams and drive themselves and their entire race into the stars... Now we can all see the true potential, even if you did go with that tentacles and pincers combination.
