These are the continuing voyages of the U.S.S. Sporeprise. It's mission, to seek out new life and new civilizations and to boldly go where no Spore has gone before. (Cue theme music).
Captain's Log Sporedate: 309.168.1.2
We have been searching the solar system for signs of intelligent life for months now, but have had little success. The first planet we came to appeared to be completely made of chocolate. The inhabitants were short orange-skinned green-haired bipedals that only communicated through singing. It was all very strange and their leader was even stranger than that.
They captured us and attempted to turn us into some sort of chocolate statues. We managed to escape and melt the capital city into a pile of liquid goo that then hardened, entrapping them all as we beamed back aboard the ship. We called back to HomeBase to report and a ship of ParaMilitary Sisters (PMS) Troops has been sent to eat the planet into submission. I am certain they will be successful.
Captain's Log Sporedate: 325.168.1.2
After scanning several planets that were still in the developmental stages of life we came across an entire planet that was made of strange interlocking blocks. It was as if during the planet's creation all the materials mineralized into colored rectangles and wove together into a strange ecosystem. When we sent an investigation team it was found that the trees, grass and other plants could actually be disassembled manually and then reassembled in a different location.
We started to do an excavation to see what the planet itself was like and found that it was completely made of black, white, green, red, blue and yellow blocks in nearly equal numbers. We did find people on the planet but they were still far behind us technologically and we were forbidden from interacting by HomeBase. So we watched them put on armor and attack a castle-like structure by hurling blocks at it with a catapult and fighting with maces and axes on horseback.
Surprisingly, the castle stood up to the siege fairly well considering it was just held together by pegs on the tops of all the blocks. We did have the misfortune of seeing one knight beheaded. But another knight simply picked up his head and clicked it back into place and the knight was fine. They would make great soldiers if they were not so frail.

We have reached the end of the solar system now and are leaving for the next star. Our scientists believe there to be several planets capable of sustaining life there and we plan to visit and document those planets. Hopefully we won’t lose anymore crew members like poor Sm’th and Jhn’sn. I always thought that Red Bodies weren’t evolutionarily sound and that they and the other Red Bodies would be the first targets in an attack. Unfortunately for them I was correct.
Now as a matter of personal safety we always take two or three Red Bodies with us on every Planetary Investigation. We seem to have an endless supply of them and they know they are going to die sooner or later.
